About Agomab

Agomab - Developing novel disease-modifying therapies for fibro-inflammatory diseases

Agomab Therapeutics NV (Nasdaq: AGMB) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium. The company is focused on developing novel therapies for fibro-inflammatory diseases, conditions in which persistent inflammation and progressive scarring interact to drive tissue remodelling and loss of organ function.

Our product candidates are designed to target pathways driving fibro-inflammatory disease and are intended to maximize local activity while limiting systemic exposure associated with systemic pathway inhibition.

Agomab’s lead programs reflect this strategy: ontunisertib (formerly known as AGMB-129), an investigational oral GI-restricted small molecule inhibitor of ALK5 (TGFβR1) being advanced for Fibrostenosing Crohn’s Disease (FSCD), and AGMB-447, an investigational lung-restricted, inhaled small molecule inhibitor of ALK5 (TGFβR1) in development for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).

Our mission is to pioneer therapeutics that aim to resolve fibro-inflammation and restore organ function to enable people with these disorders to live fuller and healthier lives.

“We are determined to improve the lives of patients with fibrotic diseases. Our goal is to build a leading company that combines transformative science with the commitment and passion of our experienced team, partners, and investors.”
